I've just added some Miniature Vignettes inside Vintage Tea Cups onto my website. These are made by a friend of mine Merrie Star. She uses vintage tea cups making every item using found objects and decoupage for each scene. 

Here are some steps to get you started:

1. Create a Visual Board.  Look through magazines or pinterest for ideas.  Narrow it down to a certain period that you want to recreate or pick a specific architectural style.

2. Design It Yourself.  You can free hand the design and define the number of floors. Then, determine the purpose of each room. (Check out the websites for building plans.)

3. Make ItHappen. Send your draft and we can work on a pre-final building plan. Expect the project to go through several stages of revision. 

4. Materializing Your Dream.  Once I build the main structure, you will get pictures as a progress report. While in the construction phase, you can do additional edits to the plan.

How long will this project last? Give it a minimum of six months. 

How much does it cost? It is based on the scale of the project and any additions to the original plan.

Do I have to purchase anything? I give my clients the option to buy their own moldings and architectural elements. 

Can you do wiring? Yes, wiring is best done before the floor and wallpaper are installed.  By determining ahead of time where your light fixtures and outlets will go, you are able to achieve optimal room lighting.

Do you use LED lighting? Yes, one of my specialty is using different types of lighting to help you create the mood of the room and changing from daylight to evening.
